This position is responsible for creating newspaper page dummies and flowing classified ads for all Swift publications. Entry level. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY Specific duties include: •Daily pagination of retail print media. (Will train)•Flow classified ads onto print media pages daily. (Will train)•Corrections on ads as needed.•Management and adherence to daily deadlines.•Downloading, preflight, and load digital-ready ads from e-mail and websites as needed.•Performs miscellaneous duties at the discretion of the Director of Business Operations.•Provide top-notch customer service. EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTSExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge essential.Detail oriented.Flexibility and reliability are a must.Able to prioritize and work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.Be a self-starter with problem-solving skills.Excellent time management skills and able to adhere to a set schedule.Proficient typing skills with good grammar, spelling and punctuation.INTER-RELATIONSHIPS You must enjoy being part of a team and will excel at providing excellent customer service to customers. You must be able to work well with operational personnel on all levels of the company. WORKING CONDITIONS Full-time. Expectation is a schedule of 40 hours per week. Ideal hours would be Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time with a 60-minute lunch break. Be able to work in the Gypsum office or work remotely in Colorado. Working at a computer for long periods of time, sitting and/or standing desk. NEEDED ATTRIBUTES The display and classified ad paginator position is for the person that enjoys puzzles. Working with advertising and editorial teams on the placement of ads in the paper, while leaving space for editorial content. This requires great communication and teamwork.
