Job description: Job Postings (2): Grounds & Home Property Caretakers (One Maintenance + One Housekeeping) We are looking for reliable, hands-on individuals to help maintain and care for a family ranch property in Gypsum, CO, with additional support needed at two nearby homes in Vail and Copper Mountain. This is a unique opportunity for one or two people who enjoy working independently (and potentially together) and who are open to living on-site in a home provided as part of the position. Location: Primary residence in Gypsum, CO, with occasional travel to Vail and Copper Mountain properties Position 1: Maintenance & Groundskeeping Responsibilities include: • Performing general repairs and handyman work as needed • Trimming, mowing, power washing, and exterior upkeep of buildings and equipment • Assisting with property upkeep and seasonal maintenance projects • Coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary Position 2: Housekeeping & Household Support Responsibilities include: • Cleaning and tidying common areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms • Vacuuming, dusting, dishwashing, and laundry • Organization of household items and supplies • Occasional assistance with errands and transportation of young adult(s) to activities (mileage reimbursed) Requirements: • Prior experience in maintenance, handyman work, housekeeping, or related fields • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Trustworthy, responsible, and discreet with high attention to detail • Operates with extraordinary levels of confidentiality • Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (for travel between properties and occasional errands) Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) • Use of a private home on the Gypsum ranch property included as part of compensation (suitable for one or two occupants) • Paid mileage for required travel to Vail and Copper Mountain properties (approx. 1 hour each way) • High-quality and affordable medical, dental, and vision insurances • 6% 401(k) matching • Opportunity for long-term, stable employment in a beautiful mountain setting Application Options: Candidates may apply individually for either role, or two people may apply together to share responsibilities across both positions.
