
DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District is a local government
headquartered in Glenwood Springs. Every fall and spring, the District awards grants to local governments in Garfield County through a competitive process. A three-member Board of Directors (Board) has awarded $3.2 million/year (average) every year since 2012. The District's part-time staff is a district manager and an administrative assistant.
The District is hiring its next administrative assistant (AA)! Responsibilities
include preparation and follow up for regular meetings of the Board, held the second Wednesday of the month, specifically meeting notices, agendas, meeting packets and notebooks, Zoom, minutes, and other duties. The AA provides substantial administrative support during both grant cycles and manages all aspects of the annual awards luncheon every January.
