Work with prominent artists from throughout the West, meet the community, and interact with visitors form around the world.  SAM is seeking a full-time manager to rebrand and enliven its store on Steamboat’s most prominent downtown corner. Significant retail experience required. Must work well with a team, enjoy meeting people, and understand retail software.   The position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Museum Store including budgeting, point of sale management, inventory control, reconciliation, potential product development, and management of store staff and volunteers. The manager, working with specialists as needed in merchandising and analytics, selects inventory and consignment for the store, including researching upcoming exhibitions to acquire appropriate merchandise from artists and purchasing items to enhance education of the exhibition.    Pay commensurate with experience. Paid time off and wellness support.  Must have secure housing in Steamboat area.
