We are looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented Ski & Snowboard Rental Technicians to join our team and help ensure our customers have the best possible experience on the slopes. Position Overview: As a Ski & Snowboard Rental Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert service to customers, ensuring they are properly fitted with rental gear, and maintaining and preparing equipment. Your attention to detail and friendly attitude will contribute directly to a memorable experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities: • Greet customers and assist in selecting the appropriate ski or snowboard rental equipment based on their needs and skill levels. • Fit customers with boots, skis, and snowboards, ensuring proper sizing and comfort. • Inspect, maintain, and repair rental equipment to ensure it meets safety standards. • Keep the rental area organized and tidy, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and in good condition. • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about equipment, slopes, and safety. • Assist in inventory management, including tracking rentals and returns. • Help with opening and closing procedures, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment. • Maintain knowledge of the latest equipment and trends in the ski and snowboard industry. Requirements: • Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude. • Experience in ski and snowboard rentals or working in a similar outdoor activity environment is preferred but not required. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs). • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus for equipment maintenance and repair. • A passion for skiing or snowboarding is preferred, but not required.
