Real Estate Assistant Position - Part-Time
Thank you for expressing interest in the Real Estate Assistant position. Here's an overview of the role:
Responsibilties:
Must have strong computer skills
The job involves multi-tasking and managing various tasks. You must be detail-oriented and adept at problem-solving.
This is a computer-based position and must have strong computer skills and you must be fast and accurate. You will not handle any sale transactions, phone calls, show properties, engage directly with clients, manage bookkeeping, or work on my websites (I have a dedicated webmaster for that).
Proficiency in using a provided PC is essential, as you will be working with several software programs.
This is an in-person only position
Key Tools and Software:
ACT Database: This cloud-based program I have used since 1997, specifically the Growth Suite Professional Cloud version. The database includes past clients, subdivision owners, and sales and it is used for sending postcards and letters for listings. Regular updates are required from the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and county records, as ACT does not auto-update.
Other Software: Familiarity with Word, Publisher and Excel is required.
Special Projects:
I also sell mobile homes in mobile home parks which is not real estate, which involves a detailed information sheet prepared during seller interviews. There are templates in Word for this document.
For both real estate and mobile home listings, there are established templates and input lists that you will use.
Work Schedule and Flexibility:
Ideally, I am looking for someone to work one day a week for 8 hours, and additional hours if needed.
I use GoToMyPC for remote access, allowing you to work from home when necessary, particularly during deadlines when you cannot come to the office. This is NOT a remote position.
This is a permanent, not temporary, position.
Other Details:
The position is based out of my large home office at the Willits Townhouses in Basalt. This is not a remote position. You have to work in my office.
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes. There are no benefits.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Job is only for Monday through Friday for one 8 hours day. No weekends. The job is permanent and not temporary. I have been selling real estate in the valley for 52 years and have had my own office since 1997.
