We're hiring! GB Design Build is a leading Architecture & Construction practice in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Our Architecture and Build teams partner together to create and deliver beautiful mountain residences for a wide range of clients. Our collaborative process is second to none, and our family-centric culture is why so many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years. We're looking for a skilled Carpenter who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of building exceptional custom homes from the ground up. Framing experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right candidate. Starts at $30/hour (based on experience) Responsibilities: Perform rough and finish carpentry on custom residential projects Assist with the framing of walls, floors, and roof systems Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and hardware to a high standard Read blueprints and work from specifications Communicates clearly and professionally with team members and subcontractors if needed to keep work on schedule and aligned with project goals Maintain a clean, safe job site Qualifications: 2+ years of carpentry experience Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in mountain weather conditions Must live in the Steamboat Springs area — reliable on-site presence required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Framing experience preferred; or willingness to learn framing skills required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions Extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance benefits Short term disability benefits PTO 401(k) with company match + profit sharing when eligible Quarterly bonuses Opportunities for advancement and training How to Apply: Please send your resume and a brief note detailing your relevant experience to jessie@gbdesignbuild.com.
