Aspen Cross Country Center is currently seeking a full-time Manager and part & full-time Sales Associate/Instructor for the winter season. Located on the free Aspen Snowmass Nordic trail system, we are locally owned, managed, and staffed by people inspired by cross country skiing and the outdoors. Your job will be to create an exceptional in-store and cross-country skiing experience by welcoming each and every customer and sharing your love of the sport. And by getting to know your customers’ equipment needs & selling products based on those needs, by offering expert recommendations on services & activities, and by providing a fun and developmental instruction. Manager Your job will be to lead a team of Nordic enthusiasts, oversee the retail, rental, ski school & shop services operations and the Nordic retail space facilities. Managerial and cross country skiing experience required. For the Manager, we specifically offer: -Starting pay $32-$35/hour based on candidate -Seasonal bonus program -Subsidized housing in Roaring Fork Valley possibly available for year round employee. Sales Associate/Instructor Responsibilities include taking care of our customers, retail sales, rentals, ski maintenance and possibly teaching xc skiing – we will train you. Cross country skiing experience required. For Sales Associate/Instructor, we specifically offer: -Starting pay $22.50-24.50/Hour based on candidate -Commissions system for sales and lessons.
