CFC Fundraising Manager Vail Valley, CO preferred | Remote considered Flexible 32-hour work week Position Overview Ceil Folz Consulting is seeking a Fundraising Manager with 5–7 years of experience to lead and execute grassroots and mid-level fundraising initiatives for a portfolio of athlete- and sports-focused clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on fundraiser who understands donor psychology, thrives in relationship-based fundraising, and is energized by sports and athlete-driven storytelling. This position is structured around a flexible 32-hour work week, designed to support strong performance while prioritizing balance and sustainability. Hours may flex based on campaign cycles and client needs. Key Responsibilities • Plan, manage, and execute grassroots and mid-level fundraising campaigns for athlete and sports foundation clients • Build, steward, and grow mid-level donor pipelines through personalized outreach and engagement strategies • Develop compelling fundraising strategies, appeals, and donor journeys aligned with client goals • Collaborate with athletes, foundation leaders, and stakeholders to activate authentic donor engagement • Support digital and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, including seasonal and special campaigns • Track performance metrics, manage donor data, and provide clear reporting and insights to clients • Contribute to overall fundraising strategy and best practices across the consulting portfolio • Represent Ceil Folz Consulting professionally with clients, partners, and donors Qualifications & Experience • 5–7 years of professional fundraising experience, with a strong emphasis on grassroots and mid-level fundraising • Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship • Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, or mission-driven organizations (sports or athlete-related work strongly preferred) • Strong knowledge of CRM management, donor outreach tools and communication strategies for fundraising • Passion for sports and an understanding of how athletes and sports communities inspire giving • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced consulting environment Location • Vail Valley, CO preferred, but open to strong remote candidates within the U.S. Compensation & Benefits • Salary range: $65,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience • Bonus and incentive pay tied to performance • Flexible 32-hour work week • Comprehensive benefits package • Opportunity to work closely with athletes, sports foundations, and high-impact causes About Ceil Folz Consulting Ceil Folz Consulting is a for-profit fundraising and strategy firm that partners with athletes, sports organizations, and foundations to grow philanthropic revenue and build sustainable fundraising programs.
