Description
The Fleet Manager oversees all aspects of the Town’s fleet operations, including staff supervision, training, maintenance, safety, and asset lifecycle management, to ensure a reliable, efficient, and compliant fleet. This role also manages budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships while supporting organizational needs through strategic planning, innovation, and cross-department collaboration.
Hiring Range is $85,500 - $96,900 Annually
Full Pay Range is $85,500 - $114,000 Annually

Position Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
High School diploma or GED.
Certificate from an auto or diesel trade school.
Basic computer skills.
8 years of advanced auto/diesel service and repair experience.
Two years of supervisory experience.
5 years of purchasing and specifying equipment experience.
CDL class B driver’s license with tanker endorsement and no air brake restriction or ability to obtain within 6 months.
2 years of basic welding/steel fabrication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Intermediate computer skills.
10 years of advanced auto/diesel service and repair experience.
5 years of budgeting experience.
