Grace Fellowship Church – Gypsum, CO Worship Coordinator – Part-Time Grace Fellowship Church is a Christ-centered community focused on loving Jesus, loving others, and serving our community. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-minded professional to join our team as Worship Coordinator. Position Summary The Worship Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supporting weekly worship services and related worship ministry activities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the church. The Worship Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Pastor and is expected to participate in regular ministry planning meetings, staff communication, and related church leadership activities as reasonably requested. This is a part-time hourly position requiring professionalism and a collaborative team approach. Schedule The Worship Coordinator's schedule will vary based on ministry needs, including preparation time, rehearsals, worship services, and special events. Weekly hours will be determined by church leadership and ministry expectations. The anticipated average workload is approximately twenty (20) hours per week. Any additional work hours exceeding twenty (20) hours per week associated with preparation or follow-up work should be approved in advance by the Senior Pastor whenever practicable. Because Sunday worship services are central to the ministry responsibilities of this position, the Worship Coordinator is generally expected to be present and actively engaged during scheduled Sunday worship services. Worship Coordinator General Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate all aspects of Sunday worship services. • Schedule and communicate with worship team members, musicians, vocalists, audio/visual volunteers, and other service participants. • Ensure worship plans, music selections, media presentations, and service flow are prepared in advance. • Maintain regular communication with pastoral staff regarding sermon themes, special services, and ministry events. • Assist with rehearsals and worship preparation as needed. • Ensure Sunday worship services are adequately staffed and organized. • Support special church services and seasonal events assigned by church leadership. • Perform other worship-related duties reasonably assigned by church leadership. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in worship ministry, music, theology, ministry leadership, communications, or a related field preferred. • Previous experience coordinating worship services, church ministry programs, or volunteer teams preferred. • Experience working with musicians, vocalists, worship leaders, and audio/visual volunteers preferred. • Prior experience in a church, ministry, nonprofit, or faith-based organization is strongly preferred. • Experience using worship planning software, presentation tools, and audio/visual technology is preferred. • Musical training or practical experience in worship leadership, vocal performance, or instrumental performance is beneficial but not required. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate worship services, schedules, rehearsals, music selection, and ministry participants. They should be comfortable using worship-related technology, able to build positive relationships with church leadership, staff, volunteers, musicians, and congregants, and skilled at recruiting, encouraging, and supporting volunteers. The role requires sound judgment, confidentiality, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing needs. A commitment to the church’s mission, values, and statement of faith is essential. Compensation & Benefits • Pay Range: $22.00 to $32.00 per hour (depending on experience) • Benefits: Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Leave
