Now Hiring: Property Technician in Snowmass, CO We are seeking a dependable Property Technician to assist the Property Manager with both day-to-day operations and broader property upkeep at a privately owned equestrian facility. This full-time, year-round position (typically 40 hours/week, with occasional overtime) offers a pay range of $29.88 to $32.77 per hour, plus a company-paid medical plan, paid time off, and 401K. Opportunities for advancement are available. Responsible for: • Inspecting and maintaining ranch facilities, equipment, and grounds, including basic building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry). • Conducting snow removal (plowing, shoveling, blowing) and managing irrigation/ditch maintenance. • Controlling noxious weeds and caring for turf, pastures, fences, and landscaping. • Safely operating and maintaining trucks, tractors, skid steers, and other machinery. • Demonstrating thorough maintenance skills and a true understanding of repair needs, along with the ability to coordinate with vendors, manage small repair projects, and promptly report issues. • Utilizing computer software for administrative tasks (e.g., tracking repairs, scheduling maintenance, maintaining digital records) and ensuring accurate documentation. • Supporting a safe environment for staff, visitors, and livestock. • Other duties as assigned. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation equipped for winter driving, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Additionally, applicants must be comfortable handling light building repairs and technologically proficient to manage administrative responsibilities. Candidate must be able to successfully pass a background screening and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa assistance.
